Kaimoana

In Te Maunga we have been learning about Te Reo Māori Food/Kai. We made a Google slides in our Te Reo folder and named it Kai, we also had Whaea Lisa in teaching us some Maori words and Mrs Pou made us eat different sorts of food and we had to see if it was Reka/Sweet or Kawa/Sour. We say that a Pineapple was a Painaporo and i thought the Painaporo was yum and Reka.

  1. Kia ora my name is Charlamaine I come from, Te Kura O Waima, I am a year 7, and I am 11 years old. What I like about your post about “Kaimoana” is that you and your school mates are told to eat fruit to see if it is Reka or Kawa. I did not know that carrots are sweet! Blog you later.
