Last week in Te Ngahere when the year 7’s and 8’s were gone we did an Illusional type of art. First we had to do 6 intersecting lines, then we had to draw curves going up & going down. After that we had to go over the penciled lines with vivid, then we had to color in every second line with 2 colours. We coloured in every second line with 1 color & color in the up curves & the down curves. After we coloured in we shaded with the same colors in the ups & down curves we didn’t colour in. What I could do better next time is to not get distracted so I don’t make a lot of mistakes. What I enjoyed was doing the art.
Do you know how to do Illusional Art?

Tesselation Art
In Te Ngahere we have been doing art about Tessellation. Tessellation is a repeated pattern that doesn’t have any gaps or overlaps, overlap is when you put 2 lines on top of eachother. What I enjoyed was colouring in the shapes, I was learning how to do a different art, What I found hard was to get the shapes to have no gaps or overlaps, What I could do better next time is to have no gaps in my art.
